Our Beautiful Pavers are made from 100% Granite and have been collected from many area fabricators and repurposed.   At Everstone we create something beautiful, new and exciting from solid stone. We are the largest collector and supplier of granite and stone pavers in the east.    Our state of the art patented machines cut, stamp and finish solid reclaimed stone into a variety of shapes and sizes ready to be installed indoor or outdoor.  Our Pavers are used as walkways, patios, driveways and floors as well as decorative cladding by strategic Hardscape Dealers. 

Our tiles and pavers are the newest products to come to market that are LEED contributing, and “Green”.   Competitively priced and a great alternative to a standard concrete pavers.

Granite Durability

Granite is one of the oldest, most durable and highly respected of building materials. Traditionally, it is the material chosen by architects, designers, owners and engineers when permanence, enduring color and texture, and complete freedom from deterioration and maintenance are prime requirements.

Granite is ageless — always contemporary. Today’s leading architects, designers and owners understand its unique qualities and are using it more extensively than ever before. Many of our most impressive buildings residential, commercial, as well as institutional and monumental include granite as an integral part of both the design and the functionality. And it remains unequaled as a material for steps, terraces, and the paving of plazas and public spaces.

Granite offers many attractive, environmentally friendly attributes in addition to its timeless aesthetic qualities including: durability, low maintenance, recyclability, an enduring life-cycle, and low VOC’s. Granite is nature’s original sustainable building material. To further position granite as a preferred sustainable building material The National Building Granite Quarries Association, in conjunction with the Natural Stone Council, is working to educate the green building marketplace about the benefits of granite as a sustainable product. Installation

Installation is the same as with traditional pavers. A 3”-5” gravel base and 1”-1.5” compacted sand bed for walkways and patios is typical. For driveways a 12”-14” gravel base is necessary. Polymeric sand is recommended for the joints and seams. This permeable application is an important component in low impact development. It minimizes impact on water quality and sustainable drainage systems. It will also greatly reduce the opportunity for weed seeds to find a home.

Granite compressive strength on average is  14,000-19,000 psi.  as per the Marble & Granite Institute.  Cement based pavers strength is 4,000-6,000 psi.

Hardscapers  recommend  ONLY a pure Calcium Chloride.  NO ROCK SALT.  Two products suggestion:  One called Peladow Pellets and the second called Extreme Zero.  Can look both up on the internet for more specifics.

Sealing

Sealers are not necessary but can be used as a sealer and/or as a  color enhancer.  It is recommended to seal any driveway against any oil stains.   Color enhancers need to be reapplied as per their directions.  

Color Blends

We offer three color blends.  We collect many different  colors of granite daily including a limited amount of marble.  We sort by hand for Light Blend or Dark Blend.  Each blend can consist of many colors of stone.  After the light or dark blend is processed  through our finishing process the blends are subtle and beautiful.  If there is a particular color of stone you do not like in your blend, simply advise your installer to avoid using.    We do offer specific color blends on a limited basis.  Please contact your dealer for pricing.  

Warranty 

Our stone is primarily granite. All statistical data provided by various sources list the performance durability of granite as lifetime. Source: National Association of Home Builders. 2007 Study of Life Expectancy of Home Components.  Additional data is available for the lifetime durability of stone from the Marble Institute of America. 

Granite has long enjoyed use as an exterior cladding and pavement material, and its inherent strength, abrasion resistance and superior weathering durability are likely to keep it one of the preeminent material selections available to today’s architects. Granite has also been employed as the traditional material for municipal curbs, where its strength and durability have been documented with decades of vehicular abuse. The Everstone Warranty on the 1 ¼” pavers  for interior or exterior use is lifetime.  We do not warrant the installation or the cost of the installation.  We warrant only the stone.  Please use qualified installers for proper installation.
